BLUE

Blue has been a gentleman since coming into rescue well apart from an excited tiddle when he first greets you, so watch your feet.

He loves attention and cuddles really wants to be with you if he can.

He is a young at heart Corso who likes to be left alone when eating and is happier if he sees you coming before stroking. As he can be bouncy, we would recommend an adult only home.

Blue does know basic commands such as sit, stay, lie down. He is a big boy. He pulled towards some dogs we met on assessment but unsure if play or concern. He is not that keen on walking at the moment.

Blue is on our adoptions page and sponsor page because he has very specific requirements regarding any home that may take him on.  As a result of this, he has been in kennels for quite some time. When you are Blue's person, he will resource guard you.  He is also triggered by conflict and raised voices. He seems to be triggered in a home environment. So it is likely he will live out his days at his current kennel.  He does very well in kennels and the staff there love him very much and care for him deeply, but as you can imagine, this costs a lot. In his current setting he will be able to live very comfortably with his very own sofa and lots of love from the people who care for him. LBDR will still assess anyone who is interested in Blue, as they may just be that very special person who can give him what he needs.
