BONES

BONES

The story of Bones leaves little to the imagination and the despicable manner in which this dog was treated is really mind boggling.

This young, lovable but very scared dog came into the rescue with no name.

He had been found cruelly and deliberately tied to a wooden groyne on the beach; knowing that when the tide came in he would inevitably drown.

Miraculously he was found in time and was taken to a local pound where he served his seven days. Of course he was not claimed, so he was due to be euthanised.

This is when LBDR stepped in and took him into kennels; as he was so skinny we named him Bones.

We had to teach him how to trust people, how to interact with other dogs, train him on all basic commands and generally we had to rehabilitate him. So when he had recovered from his ordeal, we could rehome him.

Eventually after much searching we found the perfect home for Bones; sadly, Bones has recently passed over rainbow bridge.
