GEORGE

George was picked up as a stray and he has been in kennels whilst having his vacs, castration etc. The kennels have been working hard with George to get him ready for a new home and have done a brilliant job with him ,which we are thankful.

George is now ready for the next part of his journey and that is finding him a forever home that will continue with his training. As we have no history on George before going to pound and kennels we feel although he has been good around children that we will prefer adult home or home with older children.

We do not know what he would be like with cats and unfortunately unable to test this.

George was found on 11th Aug 2022. He is good with other dogs his size( he just forgets how big he is there is no malice in this boy what do ever ). George loves everyone but still doesn’t know his size sometimes so I would think older children, but is great with them he has met children from ages of 3-14 and great with them all.

He loves to play with his toys and must parade around at all times with a soft teddy in his mouth He’s stopped the puppy mouthing which was a big thing when he first arrived. Things George has learnt sit, down, come to call, middle and sitting at side, paw, he also has great impulse control around a toy. (You can tell him to sit and throw it out and he will wait until told to get it!). He is nice to walk on a lead. No guarding issues around toys or food.
