LBDR were advised by a vet that an abandoned new born puppy had been found by a postman.

This poor dog had literally just been born and there was no sign of its mother or potential owner. The task of nurturing a new born is incredibly hard work, but one of LBDR’s volunteers was determined to give this pup the best chance of survival.

So after many weeks of interrupted sleep to bottle feed and attend to all her needs we saw this beautiful dog develop and of course the inevitable happened....her foster family that devoted so much time and energy fell head over heels in love and decided they couldn't bear to part with her, so chose to adopt her.

Indie is now a well adjusted, well trained dog that lives happily with another fur baby and is very much loved by her dedicated family
