ROSIE

ROSIE

In 2017 LBDR was made aware of an emaciated Dogue De Bordeaux that urgently needed our help.

Our wonderful network of volunteers wasted no time in securing her rescue and after a long journey in the middle of the night Rosie was safe in the hands of one of our incredible and very experienced foster homes.

She was literally skin and bone and needed a special bed to protect her skin and coats to keep her warm. Slowly but surely Rosie gained weight, thankfully blood tests confirmed no serious organ damage and Rosie was spayed before the search for a new home began.

After 14 months with her wonderful foster family, Rosie finally found her own forever home where she is now loving life and those dreadful days of starvation are just a distant memory.
