SONNY

Sonny recently joined LBDR and what a wonderful boy he has shown himself to be.

He is friendly with humans and other dogs. To begin with, he can be anxious around new people and will back away (no aggression shown). If you let him come to you in his own time, he will want to be your friend for life and shower you with love and maybe a bit of dribble if you have treats.

He is fine with smaller dogs and has shown to be gentle with them. We have also introduced him to some larger dogs since being with us and has been friendly towards them also.

He is known to jump up for cuddles very loving and sweet natured. Sonny loves to be close to you.

Sonny has not lived with children and not had much interaction with them.

We have been unable to test him around cats so cannot comment on how he would be with them. Sonny is powerful and can be a bit boisterous, and strong on lead, this is improving. He is not keen on water, loud noises like fireworks and bikes.

We think Sonny would like a quieter home without lots of hustle and bustle, ideally not near any busy road. Ideally, the perfect home would be where someone is around a lot of the time as he loves company. This home would also need to help to build his confidence slowly in the outside world.

Sonny could be an only dog as he would love lots of cuddles and give lots back
